Saxophonist Jukka Perko performs Charlie Parker classics on Thursday, 3 September at Konepajan näyttämö in Helsinki. The venue is a cultural space located in the Vallila district, housed in a restored early twentieth-century industrial building that now serves as a multipurpose stage for theatre, concerts and other performances. Perko takes the stage with a 25-piece orchestra, with the rhythmic foundation provided by a strong trio: Jimi Nurminen on piano, Veikka Kajamies on drums and Jussi Hovilainen on bass.
