The observation tower on Matti Nykänen's hill and the Hill Café are open during the City of Light event on Fri-Sat 25-26 Sept and Fri-Sat 2-3 Oct, 6-10 pm. The tower features two covered viewing terraces and an open area at the hilltop offering a 360-degree panorama of the autumn urban and natural landscape - so rain won't spoil the view.

The Hill Café serves hot drinks, fresh cardamom buns, and cold beverages. During the event, you can also drive up to the hill.

Admission: adult 5 €, child/youth/student/pensioner 3 €, family 12 €. The event is organized by Jyväskylä Ski Club.
