Macramé Workshop

Macramé, or macramé knotting, is an ancient craft technique where patterns are created by tying cords or threads - without needles or hooks - using only your fingers. Volunteer Kirsti teaches knotting at Stadin yhteisötalo Pihlajamäki on Mondays in September:

In the workshops, you'll make small practical items like key rings and practice various knots. The community centre's threads are available, and Kirsti is happy to advise on sourcing your own materials as well.
