Bird Walk at Töölönlahti

Töölönlahti has become an important resting place for birds in the heart of the city in recent years. In autumn, several waterfowl species gather in the shallow bay and are accustomed to visitors - you can observe them quite closely from the path circling the bay.

The route is easy to walk and accessible - it suits families with children and people using a stroller or wheelchair. Note that there is a steep slope on the eastern side of Töölönlahti. The route is 2 km long.

The starting point is the southern shore of Töölönlahti at Finlandia House, Karamzininranta. The walk is free and no advance registration is required. It is part of the 2026 nature walk calendar programme for the capital region.
