Cinemaissí: Latin American Film Festival - Kino Caisa

Cinemaissí showcases contemporary Latin American and Caribbean cinema in Finland - from both emerging and established directors. The festival offers film screenings alongside discussions and other encounters that open perspectives on Latin American culture, politics, and society.

The festival has been active for two decades and now enters its third. Its scope also includes Spanish and Portuguese cultural heritage through shared languages and cultural ties. The goal is to foster dialogue between Finland and Latin America and make Latin American culture accessible within a Finnish context.
