City of Light - Library Bus Wäinö

The library bus Wäinö stops in Lounaispuisto for two evenings: Friday 2.10 and Saturday 3.10 from 20:00 to 23:00. On the side of Wäinö is a light art installation that combines with illustrations designed by illustrator and graphic designer Ina Majaniemi - a complete work created from ideas by Jyväskylä children and young people that showcases the city's landmarks and art. Wäinö was awarded Library Bus of the Year 2025.

At the library bus you can borrow books, return them, and make reservations.
