Villa Rana Guitar Evenings

Restaurant Villa Rana launches monthly guitar evenings featuring Jyväskylä-based guitarist Tuomas Paukku. The evenings are free to attend, with a programme ranging from jazz standards and classical music to guitar interpretations of pop songs, plus Paukku's own compositions and improvisations.

Tuomas Paukku is one of Finland's most active jazz guitarists. His ensembles include the contemporary jazz quartet Tuomas Paukku Scription and the multi-generational Jazz Jkl Collective. He has released three band albums - "Tuomas Paukku Description" (2016), "Tuomas Paukku Scription" (2018), and "Whirls" (2023) - as well as the solo guitar album "Peaces" (2025).

The restaurant operates normally during the guitar evenings. The next evening takes place on Tue 23.6.
