Villa Rana Guitar Evenings

Restaurant Villa Rana launches monthly guitar evenings featuring performances by Jyväskylä-based guitarist Tuomas Paukku. These free-entry evenings showcase music ranging from jazz standards and classical gems to guitar interpretations of pop songs, Paukku's own compositions, improvisations, and experiments.

Tuomas Paukku from Jyväskylä is among Finland's most active jazz guitarists. Known as a versatile guitarist, distinctive composer, and thoughtful bandleader, his ensembles include the contemporary jazz quartet Tuomas Paukku Scription and the multi-generational Jazz Jkl Collective. Paukku's music has been released on three band albums - "Tuomas Paukku Description" (2016), "Tuomas Paukku Scription" (2018), and Whirls (2023) - as well as the solo guitar album "Peaces" (2025).
