About

Tuomas Paukku (b. 1984) is a Jyväskylä-based guitarist and composer who moves fluidly between jazz and contemporary art music. He leads the modern jazz quartet Tuomas Paukku Scription, founded in 2016, and the multi-generational Jazz Jkl Collective, while also driving the Jazz Jkl concert series that has raised Jyväskylä's profile as a jazz city. His solo guitar album 'Peaces' was released on Eclipse Music in April 2025.
