Vuosaaren Satamapäivä 2026

Vuosaaren Satamapäivä celebrates its 10th anniversary. The event takes place at Hansaterminalen on 29.8.2026 from 11.00 to 15.00, and admission is free.

During the day, visitors can explore the operations and participants of Vuosaaren harbour: board large vessels and ride in a locomotive, fire truck, X-ray vehicle, or crew transport van. Various organizations present their work, including Helsinki port staff, VR (shunting locomotive and railway yard worker profession), Vuosaaren VPK (two fire trucks and basic fire-fighting training), Customs (customs dogs), Rahtarit (truck cabin and prize wheel), and Vuosaaren Purjehtijat (Optimistijolla simulator). The capital region's rescue service showcases a rescue boat and water rescue equipment, and the children's mobile library Stoori is on site with plenty of stories. A bouncy castle is available at the Vuosaaren parish stand.

Music is provided by Jukka Poika, Rapid Fire, Helsinki port's house band Port Sliders, and students from the music classes of Vuoniityn primary school and Vuosaaren upper secondary school. Food and drinks are served at the Sodexo restaurant.
