Aviapolis Big Band - Red Hot Chili Challenge

Lobby Myyrmäki celebrates its fifth birthday with the Red Hot Chili Challenge concert, where Aviapolis Big Band takes on a fiery challenge: the musicians play while eating progressively hotter chili peppers.

The orchestra is led by saxophonist and conductor Ville Vannemaa, who has also arranged the music for the band. Aviapolis Big Band (formerly Quarantine Big Band Helsinki) was formed during the pandemic, and QBBH's YouTube recordings of Birdland, Conga, and Some Skunk Funk have steadily gained worldwide attention.

Lobby Myyrmäki is a 60-seat music club near Myyrmäe station, on the second floor of the Myyrinpuhos building - the entrance to staircase A is located between restaurant Toppar and Myyrmäe pharmacy. From central Helsinki, the journey takes just over a quarter hour with an AB ticket.
