Aviapolis Big Band, formerly Quarantine Big Band Helsinki, was formed during the pandemic. The ensemble is led by saxophonist and conductor Ville Vannemaa, who also arranges the repertoire. Their YouTube recordings of Birdland, Conga and Some Skunk Funk have steadily attracted attention from listeners around the world.
