Light Paddling is part of the City of Light event organized by Jyväskylä, which brings light art installations around Lake Jyväsjärvi, bridges, and the city. On this excursion, you paddle in illuminated kayaks and become part of the light art yourself in the evening darkness. This year the route runs near the illuminated Ylistö Bridge.

The trip departs and returns to Lutako Beach. The price is 55 € per person and includes kayak, equipment, lights, and instruction. A maximum of 8 participants are accepted. Registration is open from 18.8.2026 to 3.10.2026.
