A Moment Before Light (7) - Kino Helios

Klaus Härö's new film tells the story of two women meeting in the midst of a healthcare crisis. Specialist nurse Inka (Laura Birn) carries out her work with great dedication under demanding conditions and pressure from her own family life. Leni (Oona Airola) and Karin (Jussi Vatanen) find their happiness shaken when their newborn baby is suddenly rushed to intensive care. Nurses are planning a strike for better working conditions, and in this moment of uncertainty, a confused Leni finds support and hope in Inka. Yet Inka faces difficult decisions. Both women act from love and duty - but how do you make the right choice when both your own life and others' lives hang in the balance?
