Beginners' Orienteering 2026

Beginners' Orienteering is an orienteering course designed especially for new students - but continuing, former students and anyone interested in student life are also welcome to join. This year's theme is "Be Your Idol": dress as your childhood idol or current favourite, and put on an overall if you can find one.

The event starts on Wednesday 10.9. at 17.00 from Täikontori, where orienteering maps are distributed until 18.00. The control points are located throughout Kemi city centre, and the course ends at 20.00. Teams must consist of 2-6 people.

The evening continues at Corner Inn with bingo, and the winning team is rewarded at Corner after bingo. The participation fee is 5 €, which includes the event's overall badge.
