Juurakko

Juurakko is a Finnish blues and folk music ensemble that combines a skiffle attitude with traditional Finnish instruments. The band celebrates its 15th anniversary this year and presents a selection of Juurakko blues from across the years at this concert. At the band's jubilee concert on 4.6.2026 at Korjaamo in Helsinki, Paleface was a guest artist, and the Juurakko feat. Paleface tracks created together received a warm reception.

Line-up: Laura Kaartinen (vocals, harmonica, percussion), Eija Kankaanranta (kantele), Kaisa Saarikorpi (vocals, cigar-box guitars, guitars, percussion), Minsku Tammela (vocals, jouhikko, kam, munniharppa, percussion), Anna Wiksten (vocals, plank, percussion).

Lobby Myyrmäki is a 60-seat music club near Myyrmäki station, on the second floor of the Myyrinpuhos building - the entrance to staircase A is located between Restaurant Toppa and Myyrmäki pharmacy. From central Helsinki, it takes just over a quarter hour with an AB ticket.
