Varkaiden fuksisitsit 2026

Varkaiden's traditional "Mist sä tuut" fuksisitsit (freshman formal dinner) takes place on Tuesday 8.9.2026 in the Reaktori hall at Sepänkeskus (Kyllikinkatu 1). The dinner begins at 18:00, but doors open at 17:30 - arrive on time. 🤠💚

The theme, as tradition dictates, is "Mist sä tuut": dress in an outfit that represents your hometown. The most creative costume will be rewarded. Tickets cost 10 €, which includes entry, an overall badge, and half a pizza. These are OPM sitsit (bring your own drinks) - bring beverages according to your needs. Themed dress is mandatory. 😎

Registration opens in the Kide.app on Friday 28.8.2026 at 15:00 and closes on 7.9.2026 at 15:00. Registration is primarily for first-year students; if tickets remain, older year groups will be notified. ❗️ Participation requires membership in Varkaat ry. ❗️

Sitsit is an academic table dinner where people eat, drink, and sing - toastmasters keep the energy up all evening. The event follows Varkaat ry's registration rules, safer space principles, and equality and non-discrimination policies. By purchasing a ticket, you commit to following these throughout the event. Equality officers will be announced before the event. 🥳
