Exhibition: Entities

The exhibition is on display in Tapiola Library's exhibition space Kaija from 1-25 September 2026. The opening reception takes place on 2 September 2026 from 18:00 to 20:00.

The exhibition is by visual artist and designer Hanna Rinne (b. 1980) from Kirkkonummi, whose artistic practice moves between pop-surrealism and experimental contemporary art. The figures in her works - entities - are life forms that do not fit into traditional categories: they are neither plants, animals, nor bacteria, but something between them and all of them at once. In these figures one can recognize familiar shapes, such as the roundness of a berry, the surface of a mollusk, or the structure of a cell, but they cannot be named with certainty.

The exhibition can be visited during the library's opening hours.
