Espoo Resident Parks 50 Years - Exhibition

Espoo's resident parks celebrate their 50th anniversary in 2026 with an exhibition showcasing the parks' history, activities, and shared memories from different decades. The exhibition features photographs, stories, and other materials from parks across Espoo.

At Sello Library's Children's Art Wall, the exhibition runs from September 1-13, 2026. Featured are the resident parks of Karakallo, Leppväara, Perkkaa, and Viherkallo. The exhibition also tours other libraries: Tapiola Library September 1-12, Entressa Library's Valatori Wall September 1-10, Iso Omena Library as a digital exhibition September 1-15, and Lippulaiva Library September 1-10, 2026.

Espoo has 16 municipal resident parks that are part of open early childhood education. They offer guided activities, play companions, and play equipment for families with children, as well as afternoon programs for schoolchildren. All activities are free and open to everyone.
