Espoo Resident Parks 50 Years - Exhibition

Espoo's resident parks celebrate their fiftieth anniversary in 2026, and to mark this milestone, an exhibition tours through Espoo's libraries showcasing the parks' history, activities, and shared memories across the decades. The exhibition features photographs, stories, and other materials from parks throughout Espoo.

At Lippulaiva Library, the exhibition runs from 1-10 September 2026. Featured are the resident parks of Kivenlahtl, Latokoski, Pisa, and Soukka.

The same anniversary exhibition also travels to other Espoo libraries: at Entresse Library's Valatori art wall 1-10.9., as a digital exhibition at Iso Omena Library 1-15.9., at Sello Library's children's area art wall 1-13.9.2026, and at Tapiola Library 1-12.9.2026.

Espoo has 16 municipally-run resident parks that form part of open early childhood education. They offer guided activities, play companions and equipment, and afternoon programmes for schoolchildren. All activities are free and open to everyone.
