Espoo Resident Parks 50 Years - Exhibition

Espoo's resident parks celebrate their 50th anniversary with an exhibition circulating through the city's libraries. The exhibition presents the history, activities, and memories of the parks from different decades. The exhibition brings together photographs, stories, and other materials from parks across Espoo.

At Entressen Library's Valatori art wall, the exhibition runs from 1-10.9.2026. Participating parks include Hiirisuon resident park, Järvenperän resident park, Kylätalo Palttina, and Suvelan resident park. In other libraries, the exhibition is on display as follows: at Iso Omenan Library digitally 1-15.9., at Lippulaivan Library 1-10.9., at Sellon Library's children's area art wall 1-13.9., and at Tapiola Library 1-12.9.2026.

Espoo has 16 municipal resident parks that are part of open early childhood education. They offer guided activities, play companions and equipment, and afternoon programs for schoolchildren. The activities are free and open to everyone.
