Art Exhibition: Ilana Martin

Ilana Martin began oil painting nearly four decades ago. Her works feature vibrant flowers - poppies and wildflowers in particular - and her passion has grown into an active exhibition practice, with pieces displayed at multiple shows each year.

After retiring, Ilana expanded her artistic expression into jewellery. The process begins with a painting whose image is placed under a glass capsule on the piece - each jewel is as unique as the painting itself. Alongside oils, she now paints watercolours and silk scarves, and creates other gift items.
