Aalto Afterparty opens the new academic year on Tuesday 1.9.2026 from 8 PM at Dipoli, Otakaari 24. The evening's theme is an enchanted forest - dress as a unicorn, wizard, or troll.

Performing on stage are Vesta, Ylinopeus, Isä & poika, and Verdant, plus the best DJs from Otaniemi. Ticket price is 16.50 €. The event is K18 (18+).

Ticket sales for new students Tue 25.8. from 6 PM - Wed 26.8. until 2 PM. General ticket sales begin Wed 26.8. from 3 PM. Follow the event's Telegram channel for updates on ticket sales and the programme.

About the venue: Dipoli

Dipoli is the main building of Aalto University in Otaniemi, Espoo. Designed by architects Reima and Raili Pietilä and completed in 1966, it was originally built as a student activity centre. Its organic, cave-like form blends into the surrounding rocky landscape and is widely regarded as a landmark of Finnish architecture. Today the building hosts conferences, seminars and university events.
