About the venue

Dipoli is the main building of Aalto University in Otaniemi, Espoo. Designed by architects Reima and Raili Pietilä and completed in 1966, it was originally built as a student activity centre. Its organic, cave-like form blends into the surrounding rocky landscape and is widely regarded as a landmark of Finnish architecture. Today the building hosts conferences, seminars and university events.
