Flame Jazz: Beiggja (NOR/NLD)

The Norwegian-Dutch jazz ensemble Beiggja was born when four jazz musicians retreated to Norway's winter forest with their instruments, a few musical ideas, and an open mind. The collective sound that emerged in silence was captured on the band's debut album Morning (HUBRO, 2025), described as a refined gem of European jazz.

The ensemble features Kika Sprangers (alto and soprano saxophone), Kjetil Mulelid (piano), Mats Eilertsen (double bass), and Per Oddvar Johansen (drums). In summer 2025, the band toured the Netherlands and performed at sold-out concerts including Bimhuis in Amsterdam and the Jazz in Duketown festival.

Ticket sales at the door begin at 18:00, showtime 19:00. Cards entitling holders to discounted tickets are checked at the door. The venue is wheelchair accessible, accessible restrooms are available, and assistants receive free entry with the assisted person's ticket.
