Tuija Lepo's works are made to delight, and the joy of creating has been their essence - chance has often played a role in their making. Depending on the viewer's mood, the paintings can reveal lace socks, wind swirls, flower bouquets, or storms. Playful imagination and a colour palette that suits her own eye guide this art created purely for her own pleasure.

"I create art with acrylic paints and markers using the ITE method. ITE means self-made (own-looking) life and entirely self-made art; the methods emerge through the process of creating. I encourage everyone to rejoice in colours in their own lives too, and to boldly step outside the box with brush or paint pot in hand. All kinds of art are wonderful to make without pressure - and to take pride in your creations with the joy of making."
