Fuksiaiset for Year -26

Fuksiaiset is organized exclusively for teacher-training students from year -26 at the University of Jyväskylä.

The event takes place on Thursday 17.9. from 17:30 to 20:30 on the campus sports field at Seminaarinmäki and is free. The theme is childhood dream job - dress as a doctor, construction worker, taxi driver, or whatever you dreamed of being as a child.

The program involves moving through outdoor stations in groups and competing against other fuksi groups. The stations are organized by SOOL and the fuksi committee - there may be guessing games about winter songs or building human pyramids. Costumes matching the theme earn bonus points, and the best groups are rewarded. The event is OPM, meaning you can bring your own drink if you wish.

Registration does not require Pedago membership. Registration opens on 7.9. at 12:00 and closes on 15.9. at 15:00. During registration you will be asked whether you want to be in a team with or without alcohol.
