AnneMilana: Moments and Feelings

AnneMilana is an artist from Kajani who does not paint portraits in the traditional sense - she does not aim to capture external likeness but the inner essence of a person. Often it is the presence of another human being or a quiet story that awakens in her the need to paint.

The central theme of the exhibition is the human being at different stages of life. The works show the expressions, gestures and body language of children and adults, and at their core lie humanity, warmth and acceptance. Colours are particularly important to AnneMilana: they carry emotion and create a connection between the viewer and the work in a way that requires no words.

Alongside the human portraits, the exhibition also features flowers, which complement the whole and offer the eye a place of rest.
