Ode to Entrepreneurship

Ode to Entrepreneurship is a photography exhibition by UKKO.fin and photographer Janita Autio, featuring 16 entrepreneurs. Autio captured them at their workplaces, and each entrepreneur has chosen a single word to describe themselves - visible in every photograph.

The photographed entrepreneurs are of different ages, from different parts of Finland, and work in completely different fields. What unites them is an open perspective and passion for their work: they move forward, act, and create even through difficult times.

The exhibition highlights the human side of entrepreneurship beyond statistics and forecasts. Finland has over 600,000 businesses - one for every nine residents - and 96 percent of them are micro-enterprises employing fewer than ten people. 72 percent of entrepreneurs work alone.

The exhibition tours several locations: Mall of Tripla 4-9.9.2026, Helsinki Central Railway Station Post Hall 10-16.9.2026, and Helsinki-Vantaa Airport arrivals hall 26.9-25.10.2026. Admission is free.
