Ode to Entrepreneurship

Ode to Entrepreneurship is a photography exhibition by UKKO.fin and photographer Janita Autio, featuring 16 entrepreneurs. Award-winning Autio photographed them at their own workplaces, and each entrepreneur has chosen a single word to describe themselves - visible in each work.

The entrepreneurs in the photographs are of different ages, from different parts of Finland, and from completely different industries. What they share is an open perspective and passion for their work: they create, innovate even through difficult times, and see entrepreneurship as freedom and a way of life.

The exhibition reminds us that Finland has over 600,000 businesses - one for every nine residents. Of these, 96 percent are micro-enterprises employing fewer than ten people, and 72 percent of entrepreneurs work alone. The exhibition aims to highlight inspiring stories about entrepreneurship rather than cautionary tales.

The exhibition tours several locations: Mall of Tripla 4-9.9.2026, Helsinki Central Station's Postihalli 10-16.9.2026, and Helsinki-Vantaa Airport's arrivals hall 26.9-25.10.2026. Free admission.
