Fuksiaiset 2026

Emile ry's fuksiaiset takes place on 23.9. from 5 p.m. This year's theme is victory - wear a winning team's sports jersey or other athletic-inspired outfit, creativity is the limit.

Fuksiaiset is a traditional station circuit where new students visit checkpoints at various locations around Jyväskylä city centre in randomly assigned groups. The starting point is in front of Boombox - note that Boombox is not reserved for Emile for the evening, so extra belongings cannot be left there.

The event operates on the OPM principle, meaning bring your own drinks, and participants are encouraged to bring their own schnapps glass. The event is free, and registration takes place via Kide.app between 14.9. at 12:00 and 21.9. at 15:00.

The event follows Emile's safer space principles. The equality officer is Alisa Vainiontaus (alisa.vainiontaus@emilery.fi). The evening continues at Hemobile in Club Escape - tickets are sold separately.
