After Midnight Sauna Club

After Midnight Sauna Club pays tribute to blues-rock legend JJ Calen at Lobby Myyrmäki. Calen's Tulsa sound is an earthy and understated blend of blues, country and rock'n'roll - a style that has inspired Eric Clapton, Mark Knopfler, Jeff Beck, Neil Young, Waylon Jennings, Tom Petty and John Mayer, among others. The programme features beloved hits and rarely heard gems from Calen's long career.

After Midnight Sauna Club ensemble: Ville "Lefty" Leppänen (guitar, vocals), Jukka Metsäniemi (guitar, vocals), Juha Tanninen (drums, vocals), Pasi Ryökkynen (bass) and Vili Itäpelto (keyboards).

Tickets at the door 25 €, if available. Lobby Myyrmäki is a 60-seat music club on the second floor of the Myyrinpuhos building, entrance via staircase A between restaurant Toppar and Myyrmäe pharmacy. From central Helsinki it takes just over a quarter hour with an AB ticket.
