Musamimmien päivän Showcase Evening

The Musamimmien päivän showcase evening takes place on Friday, 16.10.2026 from 18:00 to 22:00 at Tiivistämö in Suvilahdenbukten, Helsinki. The event is age-unrestricted and free. It is aimed especially at women interested in the music industry, but is open to everyone.

The evening opens with an interview with artist and music creator Berta (18:30-19:15). Berta has just published the book Berta - musakirja unelmoijille: an inspiring and practical guide to making your own music. In the book, she shares stories about an artist's daily life, how songs are created, touring, and the possibilities of earning a living through music, along with accounts from other young artists about their paths to becoming singers, artists, producers, or managers.

Following the interview, Miisa May, Sirna, Nukkuvat Linnut, LUMO, Leomi, and CALLA take the stage in showcase order.

EVENING PERFORMERS

CALLA is a vocal ensemble of six women performing original compositions and a cappella arrangements of well-known songs. The ensemble has gained recognition internationally as well - most recently placing second in the international Aarhus Vocal Festival competition. In 2026, CALLA tours including in Germany and releases its debut album.

Leomi is an artist and songwriter from Pirkanmaa whose English-language R&B-pop explores self-worth and human relationships. She has released music independently since 2022, with her songs played on television, YleX, and Spotify's international editorial playlists. Leomi studied songwriting at Musikmakarna school in Sweden, which she regularly visits for songwriting camps.

LUMO, or Anna Lahtinen, is an artist, songwriter, and producer who blends electronic dance music with Finnish pop. She is currently working on her debut EP, set to release in autumn, featuring songs that have become popular on TikTok.
