Musical Instruments of the World: Geneviève Andræssen (aka Juniper & The Wolf)

The Musical Instruments of the World event series showcases musicians and instruments from around the globe.

This performance features folk singer and multi-instrumentalist Geneviève Andræssen (aka Juniper & The Wolf). She performs traditional ballads (long narrative songs), folk dance melodies, and storytelling accompanied by the Swedish nyckelharpa. The repertoire has been gathered over nearly a decade of travels across Europe and North America.

The event is supported by Taike and the Sibelius Academy's Global Music Department. The Musical Instruments of the World project is curated and produced by Melisa Yıldırım.
