Pub Golf

Pub Golf is an appro-relay combination organized by HIOP ry and HÄTÄ ry, open to all students regardless of field of study or educational institution. The event takes place on 30.9.2026 from 17:00 to 21:00 in Hämeenlinna city centre. ⛳🍻

Participants go around bars in teams of 1-3 people and try to drink each beverage with as few sips as possible - like in golf, where the lowest score wins. Each station or "hole" has its own challenge in addition to drinking, and this year there are also activity stations where you don't need to drink. The drink must be 0.33-0.5 L tap water or canned or soft drink (not tap water). Penalty points are accumulated for spilling, failing the challenge, and drinking the wrong beverage.

Each participant receives a patch on their overall after the round, and at the end of the evening the best solo and team performances are rewarded with trophies. 🏆
