Learn to Crochet

In autumn 2026, "Learn to Crochet" sessions begin at Matara, suitable for both beginners and experienced crocheters.

In the sessions, we start from the basics and progress at your own pace. The programme includes, among other things, granny squares. You can also come with your own work to chat with others.

Matara has yarn available, and crochet hooks can be borrowed on site. Of course, you can bring your own materials so you can continue your work at home. If your work is not finished in one session, you can come back later. Suitable example projects are pot holders, slippers, pillowcases, or a small bag.
