Hämärässä - Music from the Shadows of Gardens and Forests

Pianist Tuomas Kangas performs a solo recital on an autumn evening, presenting masterworks inspired by gardens and forests.

The programme features Erkki Melartin's Surullinen Puutarha op.52, Leevi Madetoja's Kuoleman Puutarha op.41, and Leoš Janáček's In the Mists (V mlhách). The concert also includes selections from Janáček's cycle On an Overgrown Path (Po zarostlém chodníčku) and Jean Sibelius' cycles Puut op.75 and Viisi Luonnosta op.114.
