Author Reijo Leppänen at Leija

Ylöjärvi-based author Reijo Leppänen visits Ylöjärvi's main library Leija on Tuesday 29.9.2026 at 18-19. He will discuss the creation and background of his debut novel "Sotasaaliit" (Mediapinta Oy 2025).

"Sotasaaliit" is a fictional account of young men's lives during wartime and everyday life on the home front in an era marked by uncertainty and fear. The story explores the power of friendship, humor, and resilience in the face of hardship.

Leppänen's next war novel "Kirppu" will be published by Docendo in late summer 2027.
