Preparedness and Protection: A Safe and Accident-Free Life

The preparedness and protection lecture series concludes with a talk by independent researcher Tarja Ojala on the theme of a safe and accident-free life. The lecture covers factors affecting everyday safety and how to prepare for various emergency situations. For example, a fire can start for unexpected reasons and spread faster than many would anticipate - and we all have responsibilities and obligations regarding home safety.

The lecture takes place on Monday, 5 October 2026 from 17.00 to 18.30 in the multipurpose space of Leija library (Koivumäentie 2, Ylöjärvi). The venue is wheelchair accessible. The lecture is free and open to all - no advance registration is required.
