Public Meeting on Ponkila Sports Area Master Plan

The master planning of Ponkila sports area began in May 2026. The planning aims to map the development needs of sports facilities and trails in the area as a whole, and to present development measures, implementation phases, and rough cost estimates for further planning.

The public meeting is held on Thursday, 24.9.2026 from 17.00 to 18.30 in the Koivu and Tähti hall of the Koivu and Tähti cultural centre in Muhos. The meeting is aimed at residents, sports clubs, and community members, and its purpose is to gather user feedback, wishes, and development ideas.
