Free Training for Forest Owners: Well-Growing Forests in a Changing Climate

A free training session for forest owners covering forestry recommendations in a changing climate. The training is delivered by forestry experts from Tapio Oy on behalf of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.

The programme covers practical recommendations for forest regeneration, young forest management, thinning, and fertilisation. It also discusses when continuous cover forestry may be a viable alternative. The training explores how timely forestry operations affect forest growth, yield, carbon sequestration, and climate resilience throughout the rotation period.

The event is open to all and requires no advance registration. Coffee and savoury snacks are provided.
