Directed by Klaus Härö, the film tells the story of two women meeting in the midst of a healthcare crisis. Specialist nurse Inka (Laura Birn) works under demanding conditions while navigating pressures from her own family life. Leni (Oona Airola) and Karin's (Jussi Vatanen) happiness fractures when their newborn is suddenly rushed to intensive care - and a bewildered Leni finds support in Inka.

Both women act out of love and duty, but both face difficult choices when their own lives and the lives of others hang in the balance.
