Geocaching for Beginners in Maunula

Field guide and nature expert Mia Vieltojärvi introduces the basics of geocaching. She teaches courses at adult education centres and organizes geocaching expeditions abroad as well.

The event starts with approximately one hour indoors: we learn what geocaching is and where caches are located, and practice using the app on your own phone. Then we head outside to search for a few caches together and practice logging them as found. Dress according to the weather.

Participation fee is 20 €. The event will be held if there are at least five participants. Register by email or SMS by Friday 2.10.2026 at the latest.
