Knitting and Wellness Retreat 9-11.10.2026

The autumn knitting and wellness retreat takes place at Tanhuvaara Sports Institute in Savonlinna on 9-11.10.2026. The three-day programme combines knitting, guided exercise and relaxation with full board in a lakeside setting.

Knitting instructors are Riikka Denby-Pettersson and Heli Hämäläinen. During the retreat, participants knit a sporty cowl or an elegant vest - instruction suits both beginners and experienced knitters. The knitting package (pattern and yarn) is paid on site to the instructors: cowl package 30 € and vest package 40 €. The package is a mandatory requirement for participation.

The preliminary programme includes candlelit swimming at Tanhuvaara Spa, a Chiball class, FasciaMethod Power supportive muscle training, an oxygen-jump excursion to Purnu farm with buns and coffee, and knitting evenings by the lakeside sauna with a fireplace.

The participation fee includes accommodation, full board meals according to the programme, guided activities, free gym and Sport Spa access during public hours, and linen bedding and towels. The price for a double room is 230 € / person and for a single room 300 € / person.
