Samhain is a performance that combines Irish music, song and dance, drawing inspiration from Ireland's ancient myths, spirits and traditions tied to the cycle of seasons. New compositions interweave with familiar Irish songs, melodies and dances.

The work is performed live by the Irish-Finnish ensemble Cúigear: Mark Hennessey and Dáithí Ó Braonáin from Ireland, and Helena Rängman, Markus Asunta and Eugene Chernov from Finland. Also performing are Voice of Finland winner Kalle Virtanen, Stefanie Tuurna and guest Irish dancers. Mark Hennessey is responsible for the sound design, visual realisation and set design.

The performance runs for one night only in Helsinki. Duration: 1 hour 45 minutes, including a 20-minute interval.
