Sports Afternoon Joensuu 30.9.2026

A joint sports afternoon organized by the University of Eastern Finland and Karelia University of Applied Sciences in Joensuu on Wednesday, 30.9.2026. By decision of the rectors, classes are cancelled from 12:15 onwards.

In addition to regular SYKETTÄ training, a wide range of sports activities and special offers are available at sports facilities for students and staff. Some activities are fee-based and participation is limited, so early registration is recommended.

A preliminary programme was published on 15.9.2026 and may be updated until 23.9.2026. Registration deadlines are event-specific, and registrations through the sports calendar begin one week before the event. Changes are possible.
