Liikkeellä marraskuussa - Gaby Saranouffi, deufert&plischke, Moeketsi Koena & Thabiso Heccius Pule: RONA

RONA means "together" or "we" in Southern Sotho. A collaborative film by Gaby Saranouffi, deufert&plischke, Moeketsi Koena and Thabiso Heccius Pule, created through the community project Ballroom Bliss Soweto, portrays dancers working in Johannesburg. The film amplifies voices rarely heard - especially those of women and children living under poverty and gender-based violence. Shot across three locations, the work weaves together dance, music and spiritual practices. The film is multilingual with English subtitles.
