Youth Budget Negotiations for Young People from Viken Youth Work Unit 4.11.

Youth budget negotiations for young people from Viken youth work unit are held on Wed 4.11.2026 from 12:00 to 16:00 at Pihlajamäki youth centre (Moreenitie 2, 00710 Helsinki). No previous experience with negotiations or advocacy is needed - we learn together how to express your own opinions and make joint decisions. The negotiation is a safe space where everyone can participate in their own way.

During the negotiations, we first review the results of the youth budget vote, after which we decide together which of the most voted proposals will be taken to the district negotiations. In the district negotiations, it is decided how the proposals will be implemented and how Helsinki's shared youth budget of 150,000 euros will be used.

Snacks and treats are provided.
