Sari Järvinen: Pause for a Moment (Paintings)

The exhibition's imaginary forest, meadow, and water landscapes invite viewers to look longer and notice what might be overlooked in the rush. Pausing in these works does not mean standing still - only then can one see the surroundings more clearly and notice if a change of direction is needed.

Sari Järvinen is an artist from Espoo whose work is guided by colour and intuition. Inspiration most often comes from nature. The works are built up in layers without precise advance planning, and the process itself - experimentation, learning, and listening to the inner voice - is almost as important as the final result.
