Matto - Introduction to Weaving

The course introduces looms and the basic weaves and materials used in rug-making. Each participant designs, weaves, and finishes their own rug.

After the theory day (19.9.), you can book weaving time at the arts centre at a time that suits you. For beginners, weaving a rug takes approximately 15-20 hours, that is 2-3 weaving days, and you will receive separate instructions for finishing the completed rug.
