Pirkkolan liikuntapuisto is a large outdoor sports park in the Pirkkola district of Helsinki. The hiekkakenttä - literally "sand field" - is an open sandy ground used for football, pesäpallo and various outdoor events. The park is a popular year-round destination for Helsinki residents.
